Getting Started

CommPeak Softphone Overview

CommPeak Softphone is a WebRTC-based softphone application designed to work with any CommPeak product. With CommPeak Softphone, you get an enterprise-level softphone without having to install third-party software.

CommPeak Softphone supports the following features:

  • Silent installer for quick mass deployment

  • Login with your PBX Stats credentials

  • Inbound and outbound calls

  • Dialing by phone number typing or using a dialpad

  • Full mode and mini mode

  • Attended and blind call transfer

  • Conference calls for up to six parties

  • Call muting and holding

  • Call history

  • Built-in echo test for audio diagnostics

  • Audio device selection and indicators for input and output devices

  • Notifications on all events and version updates


CommPeak Softphone is normally installed silently on PCs within corporate networks.

Otherwise, it is installed manually via the installation file.

Logging In

  1. Start the CommPeak Softphone application.

  2.  In the start window that opens, fill in the fields as follows:

    • User - enter your PBX Stats agent login. 

    • Password - enter your PBX Stats agent password, and if you want to save the password, select the checkbox below.

    • Domain - specify your domain name followed by .stats.pbx.commpeak.com.

  3. Click the LOGIN & START CALLING button.
