When creating an SMS campaign, you can use multiple custom domains for which you have previously registered and configured DNS records with a domain name provider. The domains will be applied in your messages randomly, with a unique shortcode added to each link. The links will redirect to the URL you want your customers to open ("the original URL").
Using custom domains has the following advantages:
- The more domains you use in your SMS campaign, the more messages you can send without them being identified as spam.
- As each link is unique, you can see which contacts click on links and thus measure their engagement.
