CommPeak Speed Test measures the speed and quality of your connection and lets you make sure your VoIP communication is going to be stable. The system analyzes a few aspects: Download, Upload, Ping, and Jitter.
Firstly, let’s cover basic terms important for understanding how the Speed Test works:
Download shows the rate at which you can pull data from a server on the Internet to your device.
Upload shows the rate at which you can send data from your device to the Internet.
Ping shows how quickly your device sends a request and receives a response. A low ping value equals the more responsive connection.
Jitter shows the variation between response times. A high jitter value equals the more inconsistent connection and potential call issues.
Mbps = Megabits per second

To run the CommPeak Speed Test, follow these steps:
- Make sure the test is being done with a server in the region you want to check.
- Click START TEST.
- Let the system take a moment to estimate the connection speed and quality. If you want to stop the test, click ABORT at any time.
- Copy a link with the test result if you want to share it.
- Click TEST AGAIN if you want to run the test one more time.
