As soon as you complete the signup to the CommPeak user portal, you will know that one SIP account is already available to you. You will also see your user name and domain.
Start with creating a permanent password for your first SIP account.
To reset SIP account password:
- Select VoIP Services in the left pane.
- Go to the SIP Accounts tab.
- Click RESET PASSWORD.
- After you click PROCEED, the system will send you an email with a reset link.
- Click on the link, enter a new password, confirm it, and click SAVE NEW PASSWORD.
You are all set. You know the username, password, and domain of your SIP account. Now you are ready to proceed with registering in a softphone application.
Later, you can also set Caller ID, change authentication settings, or add more SIP accounts. For more information, refer to the Configuring SIP Accounts article.
